Through partnership with Empowerdance (RTO 40397), JDW delivers the nationally-recognised CUA30113 Certificate III in Dance course. Working towards 13 units, students who undertake this course are equipped with the tools to exercise safe and quality dance practices, choreograph and teach dancing.

A major perk of the Part Time course is how students, in collaboration with their college, are able to put the points earned and hours spent in this course towards their Tasmanian Certificate of Education.

Ultimately, the Part Time course sets dancers up to enter a mainland Full Time course (which is usually at a Diploma level) with the knowledge of how to successfully complete a Dance course and the level of theoretical work required.

All Part Time work is monitored and assessed by a qualified school teacher.
